Miley's NOH8 shoot taking place this week


MileyCyrus.Bz reports exclusively that Miley is joining the NOH8 campaign. Just over a year ago, the NOH8 campaign told us exclusively they would love to work with Miley and have her support their campaign: “We’d of course love to have her support as part of our campaign”.

It is happening now! A couple of days ago Miley was offered a NOH8 campaign shoot and it looks like she accepted the offer!

The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska (www.bouska.net) and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8″ painted on one cheek in protest.

Nearly two and a half years since its inception, the NOH8 Campaign has grown to over 13,000 faces and continues to grow at an exponential rate. The campaign began with portraits of everyday Californians from all walks of life and soon rose to include politicians, military personnel, newlyweds, law enforcement, artists, celebrities, and many more.

The shoot is taking place THIS week! We can’t wait to see the photos!

Wanna bet all the articles will be.. "Weed-head Miley Cyrus shoorts No Hate photoshoot.." Stoner-video will overshadow anything good that she does. Girl really shoots herself in the foot.

I love her for this. There's not a lot of young stars out there who voice their support of gay rights.

I agree. But I thought she came from a Republican family? Obviously you can still be a Republican and advocate for gay rights, but I always wondered what her family's views were.

I don't know about her family, but I just think that the new and younger generation is much more open and loving in their outlook and other people. And I think you can see that in Miley even though she comes from a christian and republican(? I don't know) background.

This is true. Miley has seemed more liberal to me and I like her more now than when she was at the peak of her fame.

Ron Cyrus, Billy Ray's dad, was a democratic politician so maybe they're democrats?

Oh! I did not know that actually. And Billy Ray seems like a nice guy too... I was just wondering if some of the Christian values still influenced her or not.

Haha, I photoshopped that picture like 2 years ago. It's so terrible.

I'm really excited that she's doing a noh8 shoot.
