Selena premiering 'night-time' version of HTL on April 20th




April and May are definitely busy months for Selena Gomez.

She just wrapped up Spring Breakers and is preparing for The Getaway. She’s busy gearing up to launch her perfume and she recently visited the UNICEF offices in New York. So what’s next?

Selena Gomez & The Scene will be performing “Hit the Lights” on Dancing with the Stars tomorrow night. Then Wednesday, there will be a special premiere of the nighttime version of the “Hit the Lights” music video at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Find out how to attend here. The video will then premiere April 20.

Then in May, Selena takes over VEVO with the VEVO Go Show and VEVO Certified. What a busy lady!

lol idk. apparently 'hit the lights' and the video were "for the fans".... idts, i just think they weren't suspecting LYLAS to take off in the fall/winter, which is dumb, bc iirc that's when 'naturally' randomly started being popular in the first place, like 6 months after its original release.

This is all so dumb tbh. It all comes back to HWR being incompetent. Like, welcome to 6 months ago. It didn't occur to them to promote the single back when she released the video and debuted the song at the EMAs?

Instead they're sending to song to radio now and having Selena go off on a Radio/promo tour this week. Did HWR miss the memo that she's halting music and focusing more on acting this year, lol. The promo is so.. misplaced? No1curr about this rn.

This is an eventful music hiatus. I wish they would stop getting her to sing live at events because she's just not a singer and she always looks super uncomfortable performing in front of a studio audience ( example: ellen performance). I think a press junket would be enough because i doubt her target audience even watches DWTS

My radio station's been talking about how a "new" Selena Gomez song is coming soon.. I'm guessing it's HTL.
