E! Confirms Demi Lovato & Britney Spears close to closing X Factor Deals


  According to E! Online the deals are in place and Demi & Britney have both agreed to the terms, it's just a matter of signing the paperwork.

I think it'll have better numbers than last series because I think a LOT of people will tune in for Brit but I don't see this show going beyond two more series. I think it would have been cancelled after the first, had Simon Cowell not been involved.
It's weird because it's the UK's biggest programme but didn't sem to work for the US.

i think it's because the us already has a bunch of shows like this. american idol, america's got talent, the voice, etc... they're all losing popularity (except for maybe the voice because it does something different) so it's not too surprising it's not doing that well in the US.
