X-Factor's Marcus Canty Responds To Demi Lovato Casting: Really???!!!
Demi Lovato for X-Factor? Reallly???!!!
With the recent announcement that Demi Lovato (of all people!) was being considered to be a judge next season on Simon Cowell’s hit show X-Factor, Carlton Jordan reached out to last year’s X-Factor standout Marcus who Canty on his feelings about the names being tossed around!
Check out his reaction to names like Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, and Demi Lovato as possible X-Factor judges:
Hollywood Official: Ok so, I am going to name an X-Factor judge and I want you to give one word that best describes them.
Marcus: One word. (Laughs) Ok.
Hollywood Official: Paula
Marcus: Sweet
Hollywood Official: L.A. Reid
Marcus: Cologne
Hollywood Official: Cologne?
Marcus: Yeah. L.A. wears a lot of cologne. (Laughs)
Hollywood Official: Nicole
Marcus: Diva
Hollywood Official: Simon Cowell
Marcus: Really?
Hollywood Official: It seems like Simon didn't like you. What was up with that?
Marcus: Simon liked me in the beginning things changed when he found out that he would be working with the girls.
Hollywood Official: Speaking of X-Factor TMZ is reporting that Demi Lovato is being looked at as the 4th judge to replace Nicole..
Marcus: (Laughs) Demi Lovato? Really? (Laughs) She might do a good job. I mean I don't know.
Hollywood Official: A few other names are being tossed around Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, LeAnn Rimes and Fergie..
Marcus: I can see Britney. She would make a great judge as will LeAnn Rimes and Fergie they are veterns in the business. Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne...I don't know.
We agree with Marcus, a veteran would be waaaay more interesting than some inexperienced pop stars who were created in a Disney factory! Britney Spears would be the best choice, because she actually has the X-Factor! (unnecessary shade tbh)
