because you cant punish someone for LIFE for one mistake they made. He has paid his time, he has apologized, he has went to classes. His mother was beaten, that had to have affects on him, if you study psych those that witness domestic violence, and wet the bed at a young age are prone to violence in the future. That night was probably built up, and clearly a traumatic experience for rihanna, and a big wakeup call for him. He got the help, he is MOVING on with his life, as anyone should after a mistake like that. If it was me that got hit, I don't know how Id feel, but rihanna seems fine, and I also wonder what if it was my brother that did that, would I hate him for life? Would he have to end his career whatever it was. I wish people would openn their mindsss

lol girl, my mind is fucking open, but there is no excuse for him. He has proven time and again that he hasn't changed nor does he feel remorse. He acts like he's fucking owed something because of the backlash he received after what happened. He's still an ignorant, violent jackass, end of.

And lol I've study psych, and I'm well aware of the cycle of abuse re: domestic violence, but that is not an excuse and that doesn't change the fact that he hasn't made any genuine effort to better himself, and if you think so, you're fucking blind. Defend him all you want, but don't come at me like I don't know what I'm taking about and am being close minded. I'm not.
