Sooo, last night all the official announcements rolled in from Selena's camp on the Justin/Selena break-up. Justin's team finally responded today, talking to Us Weekly & Justin's manager posted this on twitter:
an ~anonymous source~ also spoke to the Associated Press about the break-up:

"The pair have had their share of problems in the past, although a source close to Bieber cautions that the breakup, which happened on Halloween, might not actually mean the end of "Jelena."
"They are [young] . . . it changes from day to day. Right now it is a break and tomorrow it could be back on knowing them . . . it's hard to say how they will end up," the source says. "Maybe she feels more serious about it this time. We'll see.""

Soo, it looks like the Bieber team is going with the 'heartbroken hearthrob' route while Selena tries to show she's better off without him (excessively).
But I'm sure the drama will hardly end here..

The breakup apparently happened last week. Distance and their busy schedules were cited as factors.
Eighteen-year-old Bieber is touring to promote his latest album, "Believe," which contains the hit "Boyfriend." Twenty-year-old Gomez is filming a "Wizards of Waverly Place" reunion for the Disney Channel.
The pair made their relationship public in February 2011.
E! News was the first to report the split.
Bieber seems to be doing OK, at least publicly. On the red carpet of Wednesday's Victoria's Secret fashion show he said, "I'd rather be here than anywhere in the world.""

i find it incredibly funny when concert pictures are taken and people interpret that tiny bit of water as the artist crying when it might just be well... sweat. idk, i might be a little too skeptical but i find the possibility of artists sweating so much more plausible.

Luckily for her this is going to work in her favor because no media outlet is going to want to side with him, and ofc he's going to be painted as the asshole in this situation because he's ~Justin Bieber~ and they would love for him to be put out there as a cheater. But Selena, booboo, sis, honey, gurl, you can't get your panties all twisted up, nor can you get shady and act mad when you're the one who supposedly did the dumping. When you dump someone, it's over. Point blank, he doesn't owe you shit. If he wants to move on to the next one within a week, he can because you made yourself a non-factor in his life from that point forward. So bye.
NBC, TMZ, MTV, The Today Show, and Gossip Cop are all in his pocket more or less, and Fox thinks he's the Messiah...really the only outlets I can think of that consistently shade him anymore are EW and occasionally E!.
