Demi Lovato is rich and famous, and can afford to live just about anywhere she wants but we've learned she's been living in a fairly spartan sober living facility for more than a year.
It's actually pretty awesome Demi does not want to fall back into the grip of addiction, where she found herself back in 2010, when she admitted she had problems with anorexia, bulimia and cutting.
After going to rehab, the 20-year-old seemed better, but ultimately felt she needed the support and guidance from counselors and other addicts who understood her situation.
Sources tell us shortly after her inpatient rehab, she moved into a facility in the L.A. area. It's interesting considering she also owns a very nice home in L.A..
We're told during the entire season of "X Factor" Demi felt it was best to come home to the facility, where she wouldn't lose her way.
As for how long she'll stay there it's undetermined.
In a town with a lot of stars who never figure it out, it's pretty amazing when you see someone as young as her make such good decisions.

sober living house for more than a year? yeah, OKAY. sure.
It must be difficult anyway but to be a celeb surrounded everyday by pressure and enablers...
On another note: how pathetic her so called ~lovatics are? Jesus, I'm trying to report the news on our fansite, and those twelve yr old kids just won't admit that she does have a problem, but she's taking care of it for her own good.
I'm a huge fan, but really, I'd be ashamed to call myself that term. They're so delusional, it hurts.
Did no photog ever follow her on the way home?
That sounds, strange.

but good for her for getting help and trying to take care of herself.
I do definitely believe this is her team trying to say SEE SHE'S NOT IN REHAB AGAIN, which this time I don't think she is.
but w.e good for her
Blind Gossip is so full of it in my opinion. Its like they have a vendetta out for Demi or something. They were wrong about the Niel crap they kept trying to shovel and there wrong about her being back in rehab.
As far as why Demi is staying there her not admitting to cocaine use I don't really care as long as she is there and staying healthy. She has admitted to the cutting and eating disorder and bipolar and even the drugs in not as much detail in more then one interview but for some it will never be enough.
tbh I never believed her "healthy-post-rehab" life.
i assume that's around when she entered sober living.
