Miley Cyrus records "Black Skinhead" remix with Kanye West

After tormenting the Twitterverse with her twerking routine at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus went right into the studio with Kanye West to record a remix of his song “Black Skinhead,” Page Six has exclusively learned.

Cyrus skipped her own VMA after-party at No. 8 and went into the studio for what her reps described as a late-night, “top- secret” collaboration, which sources said was with none other than West. The “Yeezus” rapper was one of the few artists not spotted out at Jay Z and Diddy’s bash in New York, which went into the early hours of Monday. West was also said to have headed straight to the studio after the MTV event at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

We hear Cyrus will appear with West on a remix of “Black Skinhead,” due to be part of a remix EP that will be released later this year. West was due to perform “Skinhead” at the VMAs, but reportedly changed his mind at the last minute to perform the haunting track “Blood on the Leaves,” at which time viewers only saw his enlarged shadow rapping against a backdrop of a forest.

But why, like what. Idg this infatuation rappers have with her. She's not someone like Kendrick Lamar or Frank Ocean or Drake or even Future where she adds something special to the song. Every rap song she's featured on so far, besides the Snoop one, has been like a parody of rap music and rappers. Is attention and money more important than quality? Hopefully Kanye brings something better, more genuine out of her.

And y'all think it's funny that she's trolling her haters or whatever, but what about the people who actually respect rap music and rap culture. If you're going to embrace it try not to make a mockery of it in the process.

If she does what she did on 23 on a remix of Black Skinhead then maybe you can make this comment but the only serious song she's been on she did it justice like you said. Otherwise she's been in line with the tone of the song and what the actual rappers were doing. Like you know she didn't come up with the direction of her verses-that was them. And it pretty much sounds like every other song on the radio so the issue is low quality rap being mainstream not Miley just following that. I'm tired of that shit too but come on, that is not Miley's fault. Now Miley having no flow is her fault but they could always say no to giving her a verse.

and yeah the majority of these rappers would rather have a hit that gets a lot of attention. Miley's VMA performance will still be getting like 50 articles a day by the end of the week- that's why they work with her.

oh yeah i said in another post how it's hard to blame miley when these rappers are egging her on.

I definitely agree but also reading tarblacksoul's comment brought up great points as well about the tone of the songs etc.

ok this is exciting

Lmaoo, she's really trying to have the black community hate on her so bad. But I love Kanye and after hearing her on the remix for Ain't Worried Bout Nothing, i can't wait for this because that shit was dope.
